Assisting a Patient from Lying to Sitting

This course will demonstrate the Assisting a Patient from Lying to Sitting procedure after assessing that mechanical lifting equipment is not appropriate. This procedure is recommended for a patient who is cooperative and able to assist with sitting up.

This procedure should not be used with someone with a recent hip replacement.
