This course will introduce learners to the Lateral Transfer Sliding Board procedure, which is used when the patient must be moved from one flat surface to another while lying (i.e. stretcher to bed).

The Lateral Transfer Sliding Board procedure is recommended when the HoverMatt or Ceiling Lift with Re-positioning Sling options are not available.
