Sit/Stand Lift

This course will introduce learners to the Sit/Stand Lift procedure, which is used to transfer a patient between a bed and chair.

The Sit/Stand Floor Lift is meant for transferring a patient who is:

• Able to bear weight with at least one leg (requires assessment)
• Cooperative, reliable, and can follow directions
• Able to sit unsupported at the edge of the bed.
