Sit/Stand Lift
Use this procedure when using a sit/stand lift to transfer a patient between a bed and chair. The Sit/Stand Floor Lift is to be used when transferring a patient who:

• is able to bear weight with at least one leg (requires assessment)
• is cooperative, reliable, and can follow directions
• is able to sit unsupported at the edge of the bed.
