Pyxis Basic Training Registration
This course is intended for approved new hires and preceptorship students with no prior Pyxis training working in Fraser Health patient care areas with Pyxis™ automated medication dispensing cabinets (ADCs)
Fraser Health (FH) Pyxis™ Sites:
- Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) (Training site) and surrounding campus, including Laurel Place Rehab (LPR), Timber Creek, Urgent Primary Care and Urgent Care and Response Centres.
- Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgical Centre (JPOCSC)
- Abbotsford Regional Hospital (ARH) (Training site)
- Mission Memorial Hospital (MMH)
Note: Training is different at ARH and SMH. Registrants must attend a session at the hired/assigned or affiliate site (e.g. if hired to MMH, attend at ARH. If hired to JPOCSC, attend at SMH).
Approved preceptorship students, new hires (Nursing/RT/Nuc Med Technologists/Clinical Pharmacists and physicians) working in patient care areas with Pyxis™. |

From ARHCC main entrance: walk to the end of the atrium & go to the right until you see two elevators, take an elevator to the 3rd floor. Turn left and walk until you reach the corridor on the right [opposite a single elevator]. Turn down the corridor, the conference room is the second door on the right.
From the staff entrance on level 3: you will already be in Matsqui wing. Turn down the first corridor on the left [opposite a single elevator], the conference room is the second door on the right
