Cough Assist Machine - MI-E for Nursing

This module is designed for nursing staff to develop a better understanding of using the cough assist machine or mechanical insufflation-exsufflation device (MI-E). It will review using a pre-set digital MI-E with clients with an established treatment plan, in order to assist them in clearing their secretions and lung volume recruitment (deep breath). It will also provide an understanding of the clinical reasoning process behind the application of the MI-E.
