PHSA - BCCH - Level of Sitting Scale

This course, intended for BC Children's Hospital occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and students, outlines the knowledge and observation skills needed to assess and classify a person’s sitting ability using the Level of Sitting Scale.After completing this course, learners will be able to:

• Compare and contrast the 8 levels of the Level of Sitting Scale (LSS)
• Classify the level of sitting of children and youth who have movement difficulties using video examples
• Use this resource for your own learning needs related to implementing the LSS in clinical practice
