This course is designed to introduce you to tools and information you can use to help you be successful at managing your employee's performance. It will:

  • Define performance management and explain why performance management is an important use of you time
  • Review the role managers and employees have in the performance management process, as well as the role of collective agreements
  • Present best practices for performance management conversations through a three-step process - plan, meet and support
  • Review performance management approaches to high performers and consistent poor performers
  • Address common challenges to performange management
  • Connect effective performance management to a positive impact on teams and quality patient care

Leaders with employees that report to them where they may be providing performance management needs.
