Fraser Health Biological Hazards and Communicable Diseases

This course replaced Biological Hazards 1 and 2 on August 1, 2019. If you have already completed those courses, you do not need to take this one.

This course provides an overview of biological hazards and communicable disease found in the healthcare environment.

It is divided into three main sections;

  1. Biological Hazards and Communicable Diseases in Healthcare
  2. Transmission Routes and Control Measures
  3. Fraser Health Exposure Control Programs and Orientations

After completing the course, please take the quiz. You must score 80% or higher to be given credit for completion.
