This online course explains how to document patient triage and other care activities electronically using MEDITECH Emergency Department Management (EDM).

  • Adding/Discontinuing and Reactivating Occurrences

You must have manager approval prior to course registration.
Complete this training prior to your first shift to allow time for updates to your MEDITECH account.

Please complete the prerequisite: FH Meditech - Enterprise Medical Record (EMR) (Online) course prior to registering for this course.

Once the EMR course is complete you will be permitted to register into the EDM Documentation course.
IMPORTANT:
    1. Complete this training at least 5 business days in advance of your first shift to allow time for updates to your MEDITECH account.
    2. If you do not already have a MEDITECH user name, your manager must submit a User Access Request.
    3. To ensure you receive MEDITECH EDM Documentation access, please email your course completion certificate and MEDITECH username to FHHealthInformaticsAcuteClinical@fraserhealth.ca.
    4. If you are working and require MEDITECH access urgently please call the Service Desk at 604-585-5544.
