FH-SFU Research Pitching Day

Purpose of this event:
We invite you to reserve this date to attend a half day event of presentations and activities aimed at building new research collaborations between Simon Fraser University and Fraser Health. This event is intended to bring together these two communities in order to foster new collaborations through the presentation of “pitches” across the research-policy-practitioner divides.

How can you participate?
We are looking for individuals wishing to initiate a collaboration to briefly “pitch” their research idea or need to the audience. We will provide you with guidance on how to make a good pitch and will facilitate networking opportunities during and after the event.

A networking lunch will be provided at the end of this event at 11:45am.

Who should attend?
Fraser Health: You are a decision maker, practitioner in a clinical setting, health care manager, or front line staff who would like to work with an academic researcher.

Simon Fraser University: You are an academic researcher looking for collaboration with a decision maker, clinician, health care manager or front line staff.
