RPACE Advanced Training: Taking the Lead with Serious Illness Conversations
These workshops are designed for those who would like to advance their practice with the Serious Illness Conversation either in their own clinical practice or as part of their leadership role.
There are two available Advanced Training RPACE courses. Staff within leadership roles are encouraged to take both.

A Deeper Dive into the Serious Illness Conversation (1.5hr via Zoom)
Using the Clinician Reference Guide, we will consider conversation strategies to support challenging discussions and explore common scenarios within our teams that can hold us back from initiating early conversations.

Taking the Lead with Serious Illness Conversation (1.5hr via Zoom)
This session will discuss engagement ideas to embed the Serious Illness Conversation. We highly encourage leadership team members to take both sessions. Staff providing direct clinical care may consider only taking the course "A Deeper Dive into Challenging Scenarios" to support their practice but are welcome to join us in both sessions
