Meditech Client Server - Patient Care System (PCS) - Documentation (Online)
Please register and complete the required courses below.
Course Prerequisites
This online course explains how to document patient care activities electronically using MEDITECH Patient Care System (PCS).
It is intended to instruct both Fraser Health (FH) clinical staff and students from post-secondary institutions at sites where PCS has been implemented.
Course Objectives:
- PCS Status Board
- Adding/Editing and Undoing Interventions
- Standard or Care (SOC) and Intervention Sets
- Intervention Documentation
- Adding/Discontinuing and Reactivating Occurrences
- Frequencies
- Notes
- Verification of Student Documentation
PCS access will be granted upon successful completion achieving a score of 80% or greater on the quiz.
For scheduled and/or unscheduled downtime procedures, please refer to the FH Intranet.
You must have manager approval prior to course registration.
Complete this training prior to your first shift to allow time for updates to your MEDITECH account.

Once the EMR course is complete you will be permitted to register into the PCS course. IMPORTANT:
