Nurse Practitioner Central Orientation (FH - Central City)
To describe the integration of Nurse Practitioners into Fraser Health globally as well as specific roles. NPs employed within Fraser work in a variety of settings and have both global and site specific responsibilities and supports. This central orientation is meant to be joined with a program specific orientation depending on the needs of each position. In this central orientation, the NP will meet with the NP Leadership Team to go over the Department of Nurse Practitioners, FH initiatives and strategies as well as professional development and practice / integration issues.
Newly hired NPs (i.e. those new to FH - regular/temporary full-time or part-time) and NPs who are returning from leaves. This session is not required for casual NPs. |
