This course is the first foundational workshop of the Simulation Facilitator Development Curriculum offered by the VCH Regional Simulation Team. It is ideal for those who are new to utilizing simulation as an educational strategy, or have minimal simulation experience.
In this workshop learners will:
- Develop a foundational knowledge of simulation based learning strategies
- Identify elements of effective teamwork and incorporate those elements into simulation based learning objectives
- Learn the foundations of debriefing skills and their application in simulation based learning
- Plan and develop a simulation scenario
- Facilitate a simulation scenario
Educators and healthcare professionals who are currently using simulation-based education. VCH employees: Please ensure you have operational endorsement to attend this 2 day course. |

The workshops are offered to you by VCH Regional Simulation Team. The comparable market value is $500 for each workshop. Apply early to secure your seat.
