Harm Reduction

This asynchronous online course has 4 modules and a final quiz. The modules are:

  1. Harm Reduction Basics
  2. Health Impacts of Stigma and Substance Use
  3. Harm Reduction Tools and Supplies
  4. Service Delivery

Overall Learning Objectives: By the end of of the course, learners will be able to:

Define harm reduction
Explain the impacts of stigma and substance use on health
Identify and handle harm reduction supplies
Describe harm reduction services

Please note: This course explores sensitive topics including substance use, addiction, toxic drug poisonings, discrimination and stigma. Module 3 includes images, animation and descriptions of safer substance use supplies. We recognize these can be distressing for some.
