Educator Pathway Level 3
The Educator Pathway Program is a four-level curriculum designed to prepare and support education leaders in: applying teaching and learning theory, developing practical tools, and building leadership skills It is available to all staff who have a passion for education, and want to build and develop their knowledge and skills related to teaching and learning. Level 3 introduces participants to the concept of Change Management. The workshops are based on best practice in the delivery of education.
Note: There are pre-readings and preparation work required throughout the course.
• You can enter into the Educator Pathway at the level most suitable to your knowledge and abilities but we highly recommend taking the levels in order. The competency assessment tool is available to assist in determining the best level for you.
• You do not need to take every level of the Educator Pathway.
• Manager/Director support is required.
The goal of Level 3 is to advance education leaders’ competencies in delivering effective education and leading change management within diverse groups in terms of role, discipline, and/or practice.
•Level 3 is intended for individuals who are usually in an education leadership role.
•Your learners are diverse in terms of roles, disciplines/professions, and practice areas.
•You support learning that takes place in multiple settings.
•Level 3 education is content and concept based with an enhanced focus on learning processes and theory.
Attendance at all of five sessions in the series is required.
