Introduction to Knowledge Translation

*Are you interested in learning more about the who, what, when, where, and why of Knowledge Translation (KT)? Do you want to learn how and when to plan for KT?

This workshop will provide you with an overview of the basic aspects and current state of KT in health research and care. You will be introduced to terms and concepts used in the field and arguments for why KT must be done and by whom. You will be introduced to core elements to include in a KT plan and provided with overview of KT planning tools and guides.

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe key components of knowledge translation (KT) and why they are important.
2. Identify core elements of a KT plan.
3. Use a KT planning template to develop a plan to share your knowledge in effective ways.
