Leading For Engagement

Leading for Engagement is designed to support leaders to deepen their effectiveness in leading self, others and the system. This unique program is experiential in nature. Participants should expect that self-reflection is required and have a willingness to engage in learning that takes them out of their comfort zone. Up to four coaching sessions are made available as part of the program, as support to the integration of learning into practice.
Why Participate
Exploring Personal Leadership
Increase and expand personal awareness of strengths and areas for development as a leader. This will include four days of in-class learning and a six-week program of leadership self-reflection, involving individual work and conversations in a triad partnership (expect to meet as a triad for one hour a week over the six week period).
Leading Through Relationships
This is a five day version of Clear Leadership, a program designed to Leading Through Relationships. Strengthen ability as a leader to build strong relationships based on transparent and authentic communication, utilizing these to get great results from teams and organizations.
Leading in Systems
This final two day phase focuses on building leaders’ ability to see and influence the innate challenges and opportunities in systems. This experiential learning workshop will hone ability to work with issues systematically rather than take them personally.

Cost: $650 paid via a Cost Center Number Attention: One week cancellation notice is required or registration fee will be forfeited. We do not enable registrations on the LearningHub due to our screening process for participants. Sessional Funding Scholarships are now also available for medical leaders who are formally recognized in the Rules and Bylaws and appointed by the Board, to participate in Fraser Health-approved Leadership Development Courses.
