PSLS Handler Training – Vancouver Acute/Community

This hands-on training course will prepare participants for using the Patient Safety & Learning System Web Application to report and investigate events on-line. Handler training involves hands-on modules that will teach you how to:

Report a new safety event on-line.
Investigate, involve others, record prevention actions, and approve events.

Produce aggregate, meaningful reports to facilitate quality improvement and safety in the unit.

Training will be offered in a computer lab.

All Managers, Supervisors, Patient Care Coordinators etc that will use the SLS system to collect information on the investigation / follow-up of safety related events.
