PCIS VA/RH Basics – Online
Introduction to the Patient Care Information System (PCIS) used at VGH, UBC Hospital, Richmond Hospital, GF Strong, George Pearson Centre, Mary Pack Arthritis Centre and Dogwood Lodge.
PCIS Access and Training is NOT required in the areas using CST Cerner as of November 5, 2022
This course includes:
- Base Screen Navigation
- Activating a Patient Record
- Master Patient Index
- Reviewing Allergies and Medications
- Reviewing Lab Results and Transcriptions
- Review of Emergency Department Census
- Ability to request Access to WebDi(PACS)
Course Length: approx 30 - 45 mins
NOTE: Required Supplemental Training materials, that may be sent with the PCIS Access confirmation e-mail after completion of the course, should be reviewed if applicable.
Depending on Job Role, additional time may be needed.
This course is ONLY available to:
