Fluoroscopy: Practical Radiation Protection (Online)

Fluoroscopy: Practical Radiation Protection provides a comprehensive overview of radiation protection practices addressing both patient and occupational safety. Topics covered include: radiation fundamentals, fluoroscopy equipment features, patient doses, patient counseling, radiation safety regulations and operator and staff doses. This course consists of 6 separate modules and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.


Physicians carrying out procedures using fluoroscopy. This course meets the safety education component of the VCH fluoroscopy privileging policy for physicians.

Other staff (such as x-ray technologists) involved with fluoroscopy procedures.
