By the end of this workshop, the learners will be able to:
• Identify acceptable and unacceptable behaviour in the workplace
• Describe their roles and responsibilities within the policy and those of peers and supervisors
• Define discrimination, harassment, bullying, and disrespect
• Explore the impact of competing values, assumption building, and conflict avoidant behaviour within the workplace
• Recognize their own triggers for both respectful and disrespectful behaviour
• Describe the steps to resolve disrespectful behaviour and encourage a respectful work environment
• Apply the concepts inherent in the policy to analyse respectful workplace case studies

The Respectful Workplace Workshop will be held via Teams. The session times are in Pacific Standard Time (PST). A Teams meeting request will be sent prior to the start of the session. Please make arrangements with your manager to use an NH computer if you don’t work at one in your current position. You may also use your personal computer at home. You do not need to have the App installed to be able to attend the meeting. |
