Dysrhythmia Interpretation

Demystifying Dysrhythmias is a workshop designed by OHM Medical to meet the needs of staff in the Birthing Program at BC Women’s Hospital. This course is a prerequisite for birthing staff wishing to take ACLS (in preparation for an upcoming ACLS course). It is also a component of the High Acuity course as occasionally we may have patients who require cardiac monitoring.

The objectives of the day are to provide and practice a systematic approach to dysrhythmia interpretation, practice recognizing rhythms, and reinforce patient assessment, interventions, communication, and documentation.
