CAMEO - Supporting Safe and Informed Complementary Medicine and Cancer Decisions

The CAMEO "Supporting Safe and Evidence-Informed Complementary Medicine (CAM) and Cancer decisions" is an online, 3 module eLearning program designed to help health care providers (HCPs) to develop the foundational knowledge and skill needed to support cancer patients to make informed complementary medicine (CAM) decisions.

By completing this course, HCPs will:
• Develop CAM and cancer knowledge,
• Know how to talk to patients with CAM and cancer questions
• Know how to find and evaluate credible CAM and cancer information.

All HCPs providing care for patients registered with the BC Cancer Agency and it's affiliates, including the Communities Oncology Network, in any clinical setting.

Nurses, Physicians, Radiation Therapists, Pharmacists, Dietitians, Librarians, Patient and Family Counselling staff, and any other allied health care provider working with people living with cancer.

The course is free of charge.
