Urgent Care Centre Course
Course Prerequisites
This is a 2 day course designed to help prepare participants to work in the UCC. We will review the principles and use of the Obstetrical Triage Acuity Scales (OTAS) and Triage in our UCC as CST incorporates OTAS. We will also cover some updated policies, case studies and some newer initiatives that have been implemented in UCC.

BCWH LDR RNs who have well consolidated high risk labour and delivery skills and have completed the BCW HAU course. ACLS certification is also a requirement and needs to be completed at the end of the course (usually follows HAU training). |
