- Examine psychosocial and risk factors in assessment
- Describe types and indicators of child physical and sexual abuse, emotional harm, and neglect (ages 0-18)
- Explain reporting responsibilities, consulting with MCFD and duty to report
- Understand the child removal process
- Review best practice in documentation of Child Maltreatment
- Increase knowledge around working with persons with high-risk pregnancies, experiencing intimate partner violence, substance use and mental health concerns
